The Alachua County School Concurrency Project is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Florida.  Our mission is to educate residents of Alachua County about school concurrency and to provide them with timely, accurate, and reliable information about events that affect school concurrency.  Our members have donated hundreds of hours of their time to help support our mission and we encourge others to join in our efforts.  If you would like to become a member, please contact us for details on how to join our group.

The ACSCP is looking for help in many areas.  Please contact us if you or your group can help in any of the following areas.

Research - Either internet or traditional research on such topics as: legislative and/or legal history of school concurrency, current media reports on school concurrency, and current developments in other counties.

Organization - Arranging meetings and presentations, printing and copying documents, handling phone calls and mail, record keeping.

Liaison - Maintaining contacts with school board members, county commissioners, and city commissioners throughout Alachua County.

Media - Maintaining contacts with local media, distributing announcements and news releases, arranging news coverage and/or talk show appearances.

We also maintain a register of groups and individuals in Alachua County who publicly support the Alachua County School Concurrency Project.  Please contact us if you or your group would like to be listed as a supporter of school concurrency.
